The peculiarity and pleasantness of this technique is that the masters of handicrafts, who know well how difficult it is to select the necessary materials for an idea and vice versa, how easy it is to create something unthinkable and unique from what is at hand, and that there is no need to throw away any leftover yarn, or leftover fabric after cutting, or unnecessary things that, it would seem, weigh down the energy in the house, are emotionally drained and have long become ballast in the house. The masters will always find a use for every thread and rag. How often do I remember some old blouse that I threw away a long time ago, but now I am doing something and it could come in handy. I think such thoughts visit many. But let's not regret, let's use what we have. By the way, on Avito I saw that people actively put up for sale sets of scraps of different textures and sizes, both for those who make toys, flowers, and use different techniques like crazy, patchwork. Many compare this technique with making pizza. There is a frame - a sheet of dough, and in our case, from fabric. And on this base they throw in disarray, chaotically different ingredients, and in the case of art textiles - these are pieces of fabric of different textures, lengths, colors, shaggy, cut, with knots, guipure pieces, scraps of braid and lace, everything is used. But the masters of that are masters to bring order to any chaos, their own creative order. And suddenly, from their chaos and this crazy madness of textile bomb delights, incredible pictures, beautiful landscapes, abstractions of incredible combinations, colors, highly artistic works appear, you can’t take your eyes off them. I will describe the technique briefly. For work you will need: fabric for the base (calico or any other, on which the rags will be applied), adhesive web, -organza, - scraps of various fabrics, - remnants of yarn, lace, braid, everything that you would like to include in your work. - threads of various colors for machine stitching - a sewing machine, respectively - baking paper, - an iron. The order of performing the technique: put the base (calico or other fabric that you have chosen for the base) on the table. put the adhesive web on top. -put the scraps, yarn, lace, braid on top, -then lay a layer of organza so as not to disturb the composition during subsequent sewing. iron all this diversity through baking paper, parchment. -now take the sewing machine and stitch, whether in a chaotic order or in an orderly manner, make lines over the entire area. Change threads, change types of seam, use all the resources that your machine allows you. If you do not want to use a machine, quilt the entire canvas by hand with stitches, and your imagination will tell you which stitches to choose. You can add beads, any decor. This technique flows smoothly into such as crazy quilt in patchwork, or crazy quilt in scrapbooking, crazy wool, which we will also consider and use.
