▌Conversations About Life Prof. Dr. Gülper Refiğ October 8, 2023▐ In the "Conversations About Life" program organized within the scope of the culture and arts activities of the Turkish Touring and Automobile Association, guests who share their life stories, experiences from their successes and failures, conduct their conversations accompanied by questions from young people. Who is Prof. Dr. Gülper Refiğ? She was born in Ankara. She graduated from the Hamburg Higher Music Academy Piano Department. Upon her return to Turkey (1970), she married one of the unforgettable names of Turkish cinema, master director Halit Refiğ (director of famous films such as Gurbet Kuşları, Karılar Koğuşu and Yorgun Savaşçı) and went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, America, where she did musicology research. She started her academic career at the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory upon her return and continued until her retirement in 2013. Our association is known for its firsts in the fields of introducing and preserving the historical and natural beauties of our country, road safety and assistance, automobile races and the development of tourism. Since its 90th anniversary, Turing has been trying to raise awareness especially with the training equipment of motorcycle couriers and culture and arts activities aimed at young people.
