What are the contraindications of Flebon? Advertisement Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components of the formula. How to use Flebon? Flebon® should be ingested with the aid of a small amount of water, during or after meals. Use in the elderly, children and other risk groups Elderly There are, to date, no contraindications for use in the elderly. Children There is no scientific data on the use of Pinus pinaster Aiton extract in the treatment of vascular insufficiency in children. This medicine is not indicated for pediatric use. Pregnancy and lactation Pinus pinaster Aiton extract is classified in risk category B. Animal studies have not demonstrated fetal risk, but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women; or, animal studies have revealed risks, but these have not been confirmed in controlled studies with pregnant women. There is no scientific evidence of safety in the use of Pinus pinaster Aiton during lactation. This medicine should not be used by pregnant women without medical advice. Inform your doctor if you become pregnant during treatment or after it has finished. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. What are the adverse reactions and side effects of Flebon? So far, only the following adverse reaction has been reported: Rare reaction (occurs in between 0.01% and 0.1% of patients using this medication) Mild and transient gastrointestinal discomfort, which can be avoided by taking Flebon® after meals. Inform your doctor, dentist or pharmacist if you experience any undesirable reactions due to the use of the medication. Also inform the company through its Customer Service (SAC). Drug interaction: what are the effects of taking Flebon® with other medications? No adverse events have been observed in cases of simultaneous ingestion of Flebon® with other medications.
