While searching a secret prison in the shadow of the Assad regime’s legacy of torture for American journalist Austin Tice, CNN’s Clarissa Ward made a startling discovery when a rebel fighter revealed a hidden prisoner who still had no idea that Assad had been ousted. His captors had fled as Damascus fell, leaving him without food or water for at least four days.
