Sociologist Clémence Perronnet, currently working at the Phare agency in Paris, will open the afternoon with a conference. Holder of a doctorate from ENS Lyon, then lecturer at the Catholic University of the West (in Vannes) and finally consultant-researcher at the Phare agency (Paris), she works on the analysis of the links between social structures and cultural activities (production, consumption and reception of goods), with a focus on the effects of gender; the social construction of (dis)taste, practices and (dis)engagements with regard to science; educational inequalities and the effects of educational policies. Ms. Perronnet is the author of research articles and popular reference works on the subject. After "La bosse des maths n'existe pas", her latest popular work "Matheuses, les filles, avenir des mathématiques", written with Claire Marc and Olga Paris-Romaskevich, published at the end of January 2024, is accessible from high school. _______________________________ Subscribe to our channel: @poitiersuniv Website: https://www.univ-poitiers.fr/ Follow us on social networks: Facebook: / univpoitiers Twitter: / univpoitiers Instagram: / univpoitiers Linkedin: / universitepoitiers
