Great that you are watching the Christmas concert of Christian Kamper Male Choir 'Door Eendracht Verbonden' from the Bovenkerk in Kampen. Due to the corona measures, the rehearsals came to an abrupt end. Although the choir had only just started with the Christmas repertoire, plans were immediately made for a recording after the announcement of the new measures. About 50 singers sang the songs of hope and trust, the message of Christmas, in a freezing Bovenkerk. Musical accompaniment was provided by Noortje van Middelkoop - pan flute, Maurice van Dijk - trumpet, Henri van de Ree - baritone and Marco den Toom who plays the beautiful Hinsz organ. The whole is conducted by Gerwin van der Plaats, who also plays the piano. This recording is also supplemented with three songs from the Christmas concert of 2019 in which the solidarity with those who could not sing along may resonate!
