The team of the show Provjereno visited Nikola Borić, a man who had everything an average person dreams of - and today he spends most of his time in a mud house. ''Nothing, I left everything alive one day and came with one bag and settled in the forest,'' says Borić, multiple Croatian champion in triathlon and coach of world athletes. Today he is known as Robinson from Kokočak, a village near Orahovica. "For six years, I've been looking for a place where, when I come, my heart will be drawn to me. I've been to Gorski Kotar and along the coast and in Costa Rica, Asia and everywhere, but here when I came, I said that's it,'' says Nikola. While most citizens are thinking about how to patch up the Advent budget, Nikola walks in torn clothes. He feeds animals, builds a hut and teaches children to swim in Orahovica. That's all he needs, and he has only the most necessary. The team of the show Provjereno was interested in where such a radical turn in his life came from, from the world's top hotels and destinations, to a mud hut on Papuk. "For me, who lived in Africa for eight years, where I saw the happiest people in the world who don't have running water in their hut, who built a hut themselves in a couple of days and who have absolutely nothing material and just beg you to give them a plastic bottle of water so that he can pour himself some muddy water and he is happy, you know. Through these extremes, whoever has seen these extremes, he can understand it, but probably an average man on the street cannot understand it because he has not seen any extremes, but tends towards that extreme'', explains Borić. For a while he lived as a hermit in the forest. However, he realized that even this extreme is not good, so today he sleeps with a girl in Orahovica, although he still spends most of his time in the cabin. "I have everything I need. I have my own meat, I know what I feed them, I drink great water, they are released in the nature park. I have my own goat's milk, we make cheese, we have our own fruits, vegetables. If we don't have something, I exchange it for a pig. I go down to the lot with the people and say, listen, 'I need sweet potatoes, I don't have any. Will you trade for a pig? - I will'. I feed them a pig and he feeds himself a pig, and I have sweet potatoes until the end of the summer. And that's how I function,'' says Nikola. He says he is not the only one around who has renounced superfluous material pleasures. "Near by Kutjevo, a German on a donkey came from Greece. There is now a Dutchman at Daruvar who came with his whole family. So, it's the same team that had everything alive, but they simply realized that they can no longer function in this system as it is and they want to return to nature. As much as possible, and it can be seen that it can also be done with children,'' he says. Verified Watch at: / verified / verified Watch missed episodes at: https://novaplus.dnevnik.hr/product/e...
