Whether grain, vegetables, beef or chicken - there is a lot to do on the farm! Celle's agriculture has a lot to offer and many regional businesses. In the new episode of Check Out Celle: "Animals, hustle and bustle and tractors", presenter Jana takes the watching children behind the scenes of Celle's farms, live from the Beerenhof Alps in Gockenholz. At the Kuhdammhof in Adelheidsdorf, Johannes explains how the egg gets home from the chicken coop to the egg cup. Christian and Rene from the Spargelhof Soltau in Eicklingen take us to pick asparagus and show how hard the work in the field is. The young farmer Louis introduces the herd of cattle from his breeding and from Henning we learn at the Bruns farm what types of grain there are, how potatoes grow and how to harvest them. The Check Out Celle team experiences everyday life on the farm with you. The livestream format for children aged 8 and over enables a digital excursion with the whole class in corona times. Here, research can be carried out together and new knowledge can be gained. Students can tune in to the live broadcast from classroom lessons or from homeschooling. They can ask questions and help shape the broadcast via chat. Participation is free. For more information about the format, send an email to [email protected].
