Now that my crashed Yamaha R1 is mechanically fine (or so I imagine), it's time to make it pretty and put some cheap Chinese fairings on it ???? I've never used Chinese fairings before, and I want to see how the assembly goes. Especially for this tank cover that is omnipresent on the 2007-2008 Yamaha R1 fairing kits on eBay and Aliexpress So I start assembling the kit and I realize that some parts are good but others are not at all... And then not having a paint reference really doesn't help when it comes time to paint the tank the same colors as the rest of the fairings But you know that I'm a spray paint addict and with masking tape I repainted my tank... Let me know what you think! The positive point today: the taillight (which also comes from a Chinese seller) worked immediately I also show how to change threaded inserts (Rivnut) on my rear loop I hope you like the video and that you learn things by watching it ????
