For more than 20 years the Alberdi Crossing had not had maintenance. Finally the Municipality of Rosario and the NCA sealed an agreement for its repair, replacement of tracks, ballast sleepers and finally the paving of this important railway crossing in Rosario. The Alberdi Crossing divided the city of Rosario in two, the railway tracks were at one time a steel belt in Rosario. At one time, more than 40 years ago, this was the only level crossing over FCCA tracks, and the other passage was under the level of the tracks, the Celedonio Escalada passage, when the railway maneuvers lowered the barriers at Cruce Alberdi, traffic collapsed, then the Avellaneda viaduct was built over the patio parade tracks and this partly solved the problem, currently a couple of new crossings have been built and the problem is now solved.
