Tarvisio Centrale station, located north of the town of the Friulian border municipality, in via Friuli, was the central and main station of Tarvisio and, until 2000, it functioned as an international transmission hub between the Austrian and Italian railway networks. The station was opened on 25 November 1873[1], with the completion of the Tarvisio-Villach section of the Rodolfiana railway. The station was connected to the line coming from Ljubljana thanks to a connection that crossed the Slizza ravine on a metal iron bridge and for this reason it replaced the first Tarvisio station which was partially abandoned. In 2000, the new Pontebbana line was completed, faster and less tortuous than the previous one. Consequently, on 26 November of that year Tarvisio Centrale was closed to be replaced by Tarvisio Boscoverde, which was built near the abandoned Tarvisio-Ljubljana embankment and the Tarvisio Vecchia station[8]. 4K video (60 fps) shot with Xiaomi 12 T Pro smartphone and DJI Osmo Mobile SE gimbal.
