Documentary film entitled Saint Casimir - patron saint of Radom and Lithuania, production Resursa Obywatelska 2012, authors: Elwira Dzikowska, Tomasz Celi, Agata Celi, duration 16 min., HD resolution. Saint Casimir is talked about by prof. dr hab. Dariusz Kupisz, author of many books on the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The film presents an image of the Prince - a young man with extraordinary character traits. As Dariusz Kupisz points out, Jan Długosz - the teacher and tutor of the later saint, praised him for his nobility, rare abilities and quick memory. The authors of the film show us around many places associated with Prince Casimir; some of them are located in Radom, others in Vilnius. We get to know, among others, the Vilnius Cathedral, which houses the Baroque chapel of St. Casimir. Father Grzegorz Senderski, parish priest of the parish of St. Casimir (Minor Basilica in Radom's Zamłyń) presents the history of the church's foundation, the circumstances of granting it the honorary title of Minor Basilica. The rich historical content is perfectly illustrated by the film's photos from Vilnius, the interiors of Radom's churches: the Parish Church, the Bernardine Church and St. Casimir's Church in Zamłyń.
