Industries that produce or store substances harmful to humans and the environment and which are subject to specific regulations. Problem: over the past ten years, many accidents have occurred there without the public authorities reacting to the level of the danger. Leaks, electrical failures, bodily injuries, release of harmful substances into the air and soil... While recent studies show that the cancer rate in the region is much higher than in the rest of the country, associations of local residents and employees of these factories are fighting to shed light on the causes of this health failure. These revelations are the result of the information gathering work of journalists Samy Archimède and Itzel Marie Diaz, for the independent Breton media Splann which is conducting this investigation, in partnership with Blast.
