Today I would like to introduce you to a campsite on Texel in the Netherlands. The site is in a great location. You can walk to a small forest (directly opposite), the town of De Koog in 5 minutes (as well as Lidl and Jumbo for shopping) and it is not much further to the beach and the nature reserve in the dunes. A dream for dog owners because the forest is directly opposite and dogs are often allowed to run free on the beach. The site is very well maintained and has great plots that are fairly straight and you could get by without wedges. However, when we were there (April with a lot of rain) the ground was so sandy and soft that the pegs for the awning barely held. It is also a great place to cycle. We didn't have much of a chance because of the heavy rain and icy wind, but we went to the northernmost lighthouse (a really great path through the dunes) and to the beautiful little town of Den Burg. Prices and further information can be found on the website. https://www.coogherveld-texel.nl/nl/ We will definitely come back again, maybe in September. The island has even more to offer than we could see now. ????Our new camping gas grill https://amzn.to/44i5tYS ★ My ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????: https://t1p.de/czht6
