Today we're fueling up on railway nostalgia. We're traveling in an NE81 railcar from Gammertingen to Schelklingen. The series dates back to the 1970s and, fittingly, ran for the first time in 1981. The vehicles are still in use on the Swabian Alb today. The old charm makes the journey a special one, whether as a passenger in the carriage, directly from the driver's cab or in our video. Added to this is the nature of the Swabian Alb - albeit on a somewhat gray day. This journey was recorded in October 2024 - and can now be seen in full.
