We left on August 10th and climbed Mt. Yari on Mountain Day on the 11th. I thought it would be very crowded on Mountain Day, but it was less crowded than expected and we were able to climb comfortably. Above all, the weather was perfect, with not a single cloud in the sky. I am truly glad that we climbed. The scenery was wonderful, and we enjoyed a spectacular view from the summit. It was a long trip of three days, but it was very fulfilling. Here is a summary of the process this time. Please use it as a reference. Day 1 7:20 From Sawando National Park Gate Bus Terminal, We took the 7:20 bus. 8:00 We arrived at Kamikochi Bus Terminal just after 8:00. 8:10 Arrived at Kappa Bridge 9:00 Arrived at Myojinkan 10:10 Arrived at Tokusawa Lunch on the way for about 15 minutes 11:40 Arrived at Yokoo 10-minute break 12:55 Arrived at Ichinomata 10-minute break I started to get tired and my pace slowed down around this point. 13:45 Arrived at Yarisawa Lodge. Paid and took a 15-minute break. 14:40 Yarisawa Campsite (Babadaira). My legs were pretty tired. Also, it was the day before Mountain Day, so I had a hard time finding a place to pitch my tent. 3:00 Woke up. Had breakfast and got ready. 3:40 Departed. It was still pitch black. 4:50 Arrived at the junction with Tenguhara. The sky was turning white around here. 5:00 Saw the morning glow. It was very beautiful. 6:35 Arrived at Zassho Hut. Took a 15-minute break. It was quite cold at this time. 7:50 Arrived at Yarigatake Sanso. The sun had risen and it was extremely hot. Took a 30-minute break. 9:00 Arrived at the summit of Mt. Yari. There was a lot of traffic, so it took quite a while. I'm glad that I was able to leave at around 3:30 in the morning on the second Mountain Day. It was cool, there were few people so it was easy to climb, and we were able to get almost to the top before it got too hot. After the sun rose, the temperature rose rapidly and it was extremely hot, so it was difficult on the way back. There are several streams where you can replenish your drinking water, but I was so sweaty that I drank it all in no time. ■This channel is made up of two teams, one for active climbing and one for leisurely climbing.
