The Battle of the Nameless Hill was a battle between a platoon of 10 Liberation Army soldiers against more than 200 US Marines to protect an artillery ammunition depot on an unnamed hill in the southern border area of ​​Ben Hai River, Quang Tri. The battle took place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on February 28, 1967, resulting in 7 Liberation Army soldiers being permanently killed and 2 others being seriously injured, but the Liberation Army was able to hold the ammunition depot against an enemy force that was many times superior in firepower and numbers.
