About :

"Poetry of the Night" was the name of the personal exhibition of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Adygea Vladimir Mikhailovich Mekhed (1924-1998), which was held in the Art Gallery "SANTAL" in October 2011. It was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Krasnodar Art School. The exhibition was a bright event in the cultural life of the Krasnodar Territory and Adygea. The romantic artist was represented by the genre of night landscape from 60 works, united by a rare theme in the work of 20th century painters. Vladimir Mekhed knew how to see in the darkness of the night that world in which everything is uncertain and saturated with ambiguous meanings, something that gives a person a feeling of admiration for the great and beautiful Nature.
