In the meantime, Douliery has resumed his job as a mason with his employer Robert Faure. Second stage of the tragedy: the employee sympathizes with his boss's son, Jean-Pierre, then becomes the lover of his wife, Béatrice. The couple's divorce is looming, but it will never happen. In March 2005, the husband is found dead, at the bottom of a cliff at Cap Canaille. The two suspects are indicted, deny everything, before Béatrice accuses Jean-Claude: he did kill her husband and the place where the remains of the body are located is the very place where the bones of Dominique Ortiz will be found.
