What gear to put on the car gearbox at an intersection. Someone, when stopping at a traffic light, switches the automatic transmission to neutral, someone puts it in parking so as not to keep their foot on the brake. For myself, on a Ford Focus 3 automatic, I decided to leave it in drive mode at a traffic light or in a traffic jam and only if the traffic light is long, then switch the gearbox to parking mode to take my foot off the pedal.
