When I was a teenager, I went to Ameyoko to buy clothes with my own money for the first time. I got Levi's, Ray-Ban, Red Wing, Fleraco, and Baracuta G9 there. Ameyoko is my starting point, and there are several famous stores where I learned about classic clothes. I went to one of those famous stores, Tamami. I greeted Aiba-san, the representative of Tamami. It was an honor to be served by him for about 30 years. When I think of Tamami, I think of Fleraco. I can't count how many pieces I've bought here. I think both Fleraco, which is sold in Europe, and Lacoste, which is made in Japan and sold in Japan, are great. I bought Baracuta G9 at Tamami about 30 years ago because I admired Takakura Ken. I couldn't wear it at the time, so it ended up somewhere in the back of my closet. Now that I'm in my 40s, I bought a vintage 80's item at a second-hand store, and now I wear it in a different color. The current Baracuta G9 that Tamami currently carries has an authentic fit that is close to the silhouette of the 80s. Personally, I think this silhouette is the classic when it comes to the G9. The fabric has evolved and there is a brand tag on the pocket, which is fine in itself. Both the vintage and the current version are great. I was also really impressed with Tamami's original G9 type! It is a reproduction based on Aiba's personal OPTI zip from around the 80s. It is the exact same vintage as the G9 that I love to wear. The texture of the fabric, the pocket shape, and the price from that time are all wonderful. If it's hard to get hold of a vintage one, they can just make one. Tamami is also continuing to evolve.
