The Black Sea is located midway between Asia and Europe. It connects Asia to the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas of Europe via the Bosphorus Strait and the Dardanelles of Turkey. It is a warm sea that is navigable all year round. Whoever dominates or influences this area will have advantages both in trade and military. Therefore, this sea is coveted.
