BIDEN IN BERLIN: This is what the US President's visit to Germany is about A good three months before the end of his term in office, US President Joe Biden has arrived in Germany for his first bilateral visit. His government plane, Air Force One, landed in the capital late in the evening, where meetings with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz are planned today, among others. The 81-year-old had originally wanted to travel to Berlin a week earlier, but canceled the trip at short notice - because of a hurricane that was heading towards the southeast coast of the USA at the time. Now Biden is making up for his visit in a much slimmed-down form, with a short working visit instead of a state visit. With the killing of Hamas leader Jihia al-Sinwar, the topic of the Middle East is moving further up the agenda in the talks. #worldnewschannel #germany #biden #scholz #ukraine #russia #middleeast #trump #war Subscribe to the WELT YouTube Channel / weltvideotv WELT DOKU Channel / weltdoku WELT Podcast Channel / weltpodcast WELT Netzreporter Channel / dienetzreporter The WELT news livestream http://bit.ly/2fwuMPg The top news on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2rQQD9Q The media library on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2Iydxv8 WELT news channel on Instagram / welt.nachrichtensender WELT on Instagram / welt On our own behalf: Due to the high volume of irrelevant and offensive posts, we are currently unable to accept any more comments.
