After 87 years and 167 days, on August 4th, 2019 it was time to say goodbye to the unique steam locomotive 01 118. It probably found its final resting place in Battenberg, where it is housed behind bars and well protected in a hall together with another steam locomotive unknown to me. The reasons why the locomotive is where it is now are presented several times in the comments below.
