"Baš bunar" is the last theater play written by Aleksandar Popović, and he wanted to direct it himself. The play premiered on the stage of Zvezdara Theater on September 30, 1996, and just a few days later Aleksandar Popović died. This work basically has a very contemporary theme, which Popović, of course, shaped using his well-known comedic devices. It is, to some extent, a strange combination, because the play deals with the topic of the unfortunate fate of Serbs from Krajina. It is a refugee story about two brothers and their wives who, neither guilty nor indebted, have to leave their homes, their roots and embark on an uncertain and harsh journey. Ljiljana Blagojervić, Miodrag Krivokapić, Ružica Sokić and Predrag Ejdus played in the play. The last performance was played on May 18, 1998 and was then recorded for television.
