Ladainha is a great memory! On the third day of our route, the challenge is to reach Teófilo Otoni, passing through the villages of Caporanga, Sucanga and Valão, the last two within the municipality of Poté. The lagoons and dense vegetation around Ladainha completely change the atmosphere of the place and this stretch is one of the highlights of the route. A landscape that is sure to please the eye, formed by a charming bridge, the lake of the Power Plant and the imposing Pedra de Ladainha. On the border of the municipalities of Ladainha and Poté, we have the old Caporanga Station, opened in 1918, next to the Railway Agent's House and the Iron Bridge that marks the border between the two cities. Arriving in Teófilo Otoni, we passed by the Represa do Rio de Todos os Santos, which guarantees the city's drinking water supply and ended our third day of cycling at the centuries-old and charming Fazenda Jurema, where the railroad passed and which today offers gastronomic and cultural experiences under magical cocoa trees.
