Travelling with regional trains in Germany often means full and crowded trains. On this day I want to return from Hannover to the Netherlands with the regional trains. This is possible via the main line quite directly, but it is often crowded there. So I went looking for an alternative route. Via a number of back lines I manage to travel wonderfully quietly and also see beautiful regions. Are you travelling with me?
