The Veluwse Wieler Vereniging organised the MTB Herfsttocht 🚴‍♂️🍂 again this year, with the Veluws Taaiste as the highlight: a challenging 100 km tour through the beautiful landscape of the Veluwe 🌳✨. Mountain biking on the Veluwe is always an experience, and we definitely didn't want to miss this tour 💪. We started at Partycentrum de Muzenhof 🏠 and soon rode a part of the MTB route Harderwijk 🚵‍♀️. Via winding forest paths and single tracks we arrived in the Leuvenumse Bos 🌲, where we had our first stop 🍫. This was also the junction for the 100 km route. Of course, we chose the longest distance 🏞️, which took us through the vast forests and heathlands of Nunspeet. With each new section of the route we enjoyed the impressive landscape more 🌟. After about 65 kilometers we reached Landgoed Het Roode Koper 🏡, an atmospheric break spot. Shortly afterwards the routes came together again and we continued our journey via the beautiful Ermelose Heide 🌿. Through the area around Houtdorp we rode the last kilometers over challenging trails and varied paths, until we finally reached the finish tired but satisfied 🏁😅. It was a fantastic trip of over 100 km with about 500 meters of elevation ⛰️. The perfect combination of variety, challenge and nature 🌟. Absolutely recommended for every mountain biker who wants to experience the Veluwe at its best! 🚵‍♂️🌲💚 ###### The Veluwe Cycling Association organized the MTB Autumn Tour 🚴‍♂️🍂 this year, featuring the highlight: the Veluwe's Toughest – a challenging 100 km ride through the stunning landscapes of the Veluwe 🌳✨. Mountain biking in the Veluwe is always an incredible experience, and we couldn't miss this adventure 💪. We started at Partycentrum de Muzenhof 🏠 and quickly picked up parts of the MTB Harderwijk route 🚵‍♀️. Winding forest trails and singletracks led us through the Leuvenumse Woods 🌲 to our first stop 🍫. This was also the split point for the 100 km route. Naturally, we chose the longest distance 🏞️, taking us through the vast forests and heathlands of Nunspeet. Each section of the route was more breathtaking than the last 🌟. After about 65 kilometers, we arrived at Landgoed Het Roode Koper 🏡, a charming rest stop. Shortly after, the routes merged again, and we continued through the stunning Ermelose Heath 🌿. The final kilometers took us through the Houtdorp area, over exciting trails and varied paths, until we finally crossed the finish line 🏁😅. It was an amazing ride of over 100 km with around 500 meters of elevation ⛰️. The perfect mix of variety, challenge, and nature 🌟.
