Before moving to Leipzig, Germany where he completed a post-master and master's degree, he did a double specialization in Composition and Music Theory in Mexico City. He has been teaching music classes including composition, theoretical music, guitar and piano for 10 years to both children and adults of all levels. At the moment, Jacques is teaching Music Theory Fundamentals at the University of California, but also offers private online lessons in Spanish, English, or German. In general, classes can cover topics such as Composition, Orchestration, Music Theory, Analysis, and the use of software such as Sibelius, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, and Introduction to MaxMSP.
