A report from a visit to the Audio Video Show 2024, this year we could see many new products, not only from Unitra, Diora or Pylon. In addition to its ZGB-401 stand-mount monitors and the new WSH-605 integrated amplifier, Unitra announced the production of its own MC turntable cartridge with a microline cut. Their pace is fast and they do not intend to slow down. Diora, a year after the official return of products with this brand, presents two new series of loudspeakers - Lada 7 and Polaris 5. The latter are particularly interesting, because for a price below 10 thousand we will get the top model of floor-standing speakers of this series - so there will also be cheaper models! We also visited the Audiokultura stand, which was to present a new step up transformer this year, unfortunately when we were at the stand, it was not there yet - but you can always talk about Iskra, a popular phono preamplifier. Robert and I also visited Pylon Audio to see the new Jade series releases – Pylon Audio Jade 10 and Jade 30, the manufacturer also presented the exceptionally slim Zirkon 20 speakers. We also visited smaller manufacturers, one of them being More Audio, who invited me to a presentation of their CS-100 integrated amplifier.
