The theme of this first program is "facial paralysis". Each year, in France, 15,000 people are affected by facial paralysis. In 80% of cases, it is a paralysis that is called "frozen" and occurs suddenly and disappears a few weeks later. What is facial paralysis? What are the causes? How is it diagnosed? What are the treatments? To answer these questions, we will discuss in the first part of the program the different ways to diagnose facial paralysis, and what types of paralysis exist. Professor TANKERE, in the "expert's word", will present the different types of severe paralysis. In a second part of the program, we will discuss the treatments for facial paralysis.
