I finally got to know the national capital of strawberries and I'm going to show you what to do in Atibaia in 2 or 3 days (a weekend). Atibaia is in the interior of São Paulo and has already been voted one of the 10 safest cities in Brazil. It's a city with several attractions, including Pedra Grande, a rock overlooking 9 cities where hang gliding flights depart and you can get there by car, parks with cable cars and also strawberry farms where you can pick your own strawberries. Atibaia also has the Flower and Strawberry Festival, which this year takes place every weekend in September. That's where you can really indulge in strawberries, there's juice, pastries, meringue, strawberries galore and more. And there's also the exhibition and flower sale.
