When Radjevina is covered in heavy snow, and when the villages become cut off from the world and the livestock run out of food, the local highlanders haul hay with oxen on large wooden sledges that are up to 50 years old. We filmed one such hay haul in the village of Bogostica near Krupanj, where the locals say that it is not difficult for them to work in the snow and that they love to do it. Once upon a time, every house in Radjevina had oxen, today there are only 5 pairs of them, which are welcome in these winter days. ...So that the past is not forgotten and the future is remembered....
