After the famous book "Gomorrah. Power, fear and money in the Polish Church", Artur Nowak and Stanisław Obirek have returned with a new book in which they take a closer look at another unpleasant face of the Catholic Church. Sticking to the facts, the authors outline the criminal history of the church that robbed and murdered victims of colonial oppression in Canada, taught women in Ireland to rape culture, and cynically convinced through the mouth of "holy" Mother Teresa that suffering sanctifies, so it should not be soothed. The authors show a corrupt church, entangled in political wars, terrified by the vision of a synod, the shape of which is not decided by the faithful on an equal basis with the priests. Waldek Mazur talks to the authors about this book and the condition of the Polish church. Góry Literatury Festival 2023, Zamek Sarny, July 14, 2023 Do you like what we do?
