In November 1977, lawyer Stepan Ruzhinsky was murdered at his own dacha in Odessa. A witness claimed that at the presumed time of the crime he saw a car with three men near the victim's country house. A co-worker of Ruzhinsky's wife, Tatyana, said that another colleague of theirs, Vasily Shinkaruk, had a car of the same make. According to the woman, he and Tatyana were having an affair. And the day before, Stepan and Vasily had a big fight: Ruzhinsky was violent, and Shinkaruk stood up for Tatyana. Detectives were unable to interrogate the man himself, he had disappeared: he was neither at home nor at work. Why didn't Tatyana leave her tyrant husband and was Vasily involved in the lawyer's death? ________________ The Veshdok project is a series of crime documentary dramas investigating complex criminal cases from 1945 to 1985.
