Satriaddin Maharinga Djongki or commonly known as Arie Kriting was born in Kendari, Central Sulawesi on April 13, 1985, this man comes from Wakatobi. Arie Kriting tends to rarely talk about his family, but it is known that he has a younger brother named Amall Buton who also has a career as a comedian. As a father of one child, Arie Kriting had studied at the National Institute of Technology (ITN) Malang, East Java, majoring in Regional Planning Engineering before finally entering the entertainment world. Arie Kriting, who comes from Eastern Indonesia where the majority are non-Muslim, is often misunderstood as a convert. However, Arie firmly stated that he would never change his beliefs until his death. A video showing Arie Kriting refusing to convert to Islam went viral. The real truth is that Arie Kriting has been a Muslim since birth, so it is impossible for him to convert to Islam. In 2013, Arie Kriting tried his luck in a stand-up comedy competition held on a private television station and won third place. He often presents comedy material with a distinctive accent from the Eastern Indonesian region. After the competition ended, Arie Kriting's career continued to grow. He remains active in stand-up comedy shows and won an award as Favorite Comedian at the 2023 Indonesian Comedy Awards. In addition to being a comedian, Arie also explores the world of acting by acting in various films. In addition to acting, he is also a screenwriter for several famous films such as Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss! Part 1, 5 Cowok Jagoan, and Kulari ke Pantai. Arie also tried his luck as a director for the film Pelukis Hantu. Thanks to his dedication in the world of acting, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2017 Usmar Ismail Awards for his role in the film Aisyah, Let Us Be Brothers. He also won the Best Ensemble Talent category at the Indonesian Box Office Movie Awards. Arie Kriting married Indah Permatasari on January 12, 2021. The couple has now been blessed with a child who was born in 2022. Before getting married, the two were known to have been in a relationship for 4 years. Even though they have been together for a long time, Indah Permatasari's mother's blessing has not been received.
