Let's look back to Christmas 1980, or more precisely to Boxing Day. My oldest broadcast to date in the archive is from this day of broadcasting; it was left over at the end of a VCR cassette. Shortly after midnight, Dagmar Berghoff brings everyone up to date before the program boards bring the day and Christmas to a close with cozy music... the station was switched off straight away; there was no test pattern. VCR cassette: BASF VC 60 - Longplay Video recorder: Philips N1700 DVD recorder: Pioneer DVR-5100H The rights to the broadcast are held by ARD.
