Many still do not know the true function of the EQUALIZER and use it incorrectly, to correct equalization defects of a Speaker, be it PA or RETURN mistakenly, as this is not the function of the Equalizer. The Equalizer is used to correct the equalization of the Instrument or Voice that is connected to the CHANNEL of the sound board, it is it that must be EQUALIZED. We must have our PA and Monitor system well equalized and, if possible, through equipment capable of making an Alignment according to the Environment. If this is not possible, the good old 31-BAND EQUALIZER already helps a lot in the correction. A system with good Alignment prevents the equalization done on the Channel from completely changing the sound of the monitor, whether Headphones or Return Box, when there is only one soundboard.
