Be sure to order the book "Niusia from Schindler's List. A Story of Salvation" by Magda Huzarska-Szumiec (published by Wielka Litera) 👉 https://patronite-sklep.pl/kolekcja/h... or https://wielkalitera.pl/produkt/niusi... By purchasing in our bookstore, you support the perpetuation of the memory of Polish history. Niusia Horowitz, or rather Bronisława Horowitz-Karakulska (92 years old), is the last survivor of the so-called "Schindler's List" living in Poland. Niusia, together with her family, managed to survive the German occupation thanks to employment at the Emalia factory of Oskar Schindler - a German entrepreneur who saved his Jewish workers. Schindler's help did not save Niusia, and her brother Ryszard Horowitz, from being sent to the German concentration camps of Plaszow, Auschwitz-Birkenau and Gross-Rosen. Half a century after the end of World War II, Niusia Horowitz advised Steven Spielberg on the set of his famous film "Schindler's List". Ms. Niusia invited us to talk about World War II, Schindler's Factory and the extraordinary memento that she has kept for over 80 years. If you visit Krakow, be sure to see the Schindler Museum. Also, check out the latest biography "Niusia from Schindler's List. A Story of Salvation" by Magda Huzarska-Szumiec, which you can buy in our online bookstore, among others. ⚠️ EDSA exception. This film is educational in nature, and its purpose - like the purpose of the entire History Hiking channel - is to disseminate historical knowledge and condemn German Nazism.
