Hanspeter Amstutz made many enemies as a conservative teacher. Now he is retiring - much to the regret of students and parents. He has been a teacher with heart and soul for 44 years. In the 3rd B secondary school classroom, Hanspeter Amstutz is the boss - he is considered strict. In terms of teaching, Amstutz prefers to rely on the blackboard rather than the projector and he has difficulty with the computer. As the highest-ranking teacher in the canton, he repeatedly fought against reforms in the Zurich Education Council. His supporters see the secondary school teacher from Illnau-Effretikon as a true pedagogue whose heart beats for the weak. This summer, a new life begins for the schoolmaster. The 66-year-old is retiring - a year late. Reporter Elvira Stadelmann accompanies the tireless teacher in his final weeks as a teacher and asks what makes good teaching.
