Hello everyone and welcome back to Sterrato! Today we give you our opinion on the Altra Outroad kindly offered by Altra itself, which we thank very much and invite you to continue on this path! (lol) First of all, this new model wants to simulate what in the world of cycling is gravel, that sphere neither road nor mountain that can easily live both worlds but without the search for performance but with serenity and lightheartedness. Let's start immediately with the traction, Max Trac sole (proprietary technology of Altra) with very light cleats made to perform on easy terrain and go well both on the road and on simple dirt roads. Ego Foam midsole, valid both as protection from impacts and as reactivity but nothing crazy with, obviously, drop 0 (balanced cushioning). Light and breathable mesh upper with regular and very comfortable fit (foot shape technology). As final and personal considerations we can say that this new Outroad is very valid as a training shoe, for mixed road, dirt.
