In this Baw Waw Breed Guide, we went to the Di Graziano kennel to talk to Enrique Di Graziano, one of the Alabai breeders in Brazil. ???? Long before Jesus! This breed was not created by man. It developed through natural selection, facing places with many predators and climates that make it difficult to survive. And these conditions influenced its temperament, which is that of a dog that is resistant, independent, loyal to its family (when used as a companion) and, most importantly, it is not afraid of any type of predator! That is why it became an excellent shepherd and protector dog. It even earned the nickname of wolf destroyer, for scaring away and even killing wolves that approached the farms. Let's look at the characteristics of the breed: Average life expectancy: 17 years. Minimum weight: males: 50 kg; females: 40 kg Minimum height: males 70 cm; females: 65 cm Coat: abundant, straight, rustic and with a well-developed undercoat. Color: any, with the exception of blue or brown in any combination and a black over brown coat.
