ROBERT ADAMS was an American Advaita teacher. In his late teens he became a devotee of Sri Ramana Maharshi in Tiruvannamalai, India. In later life, Adams held satsangs with a small group of devotees in California, USA. Robert did not perform at the ashram. Satsangs were held at his home and at the home of devotee Henry. He mainly advocated the path of Jnana Yoga, with its emphasis on the practice of self-enquiry. Adams' teachings were unknown during his lifetime, but have since become widespread among scholars of Advaita Vedanta philosophy and Western devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.
