Air France Flight 447 (AF447) was an international flight between Rio de Janeiro's Galeão Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. On 1 June 2009, an Airbus A330-203 aircraft, registered F-GZCP,2 while operating service AF447, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean with 216 passengers, and 12 crew on board, including three pilots. The accident was the deadliest in Air France history, and the second and largest fatal Airbus A330 accident. On board the aircraft were: Roberto Correa Chem, 65.
