Air France Flight 447 (AF447) was an international flight between Rio de Janeiro's Galeão Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. On 1 June 2009, an Airbus A330-203 aircraft, registered F-GZCP,2 while operating service AF447, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean with 216 passengers, and 12 crew on board, including three pilots.
