Jointly organized by the Campus de l'Innovation pour les Lycées and Sciences Po, this conference aims to question ourselves about artificial intelligence and the many challenges it imposes on us. It is mainly aimed at first and final year students from priority education networks. Philippe Aghion, professor at the Collège de France in the Economics of Institutions, Innovation and Growth chair, will begin this conference with "The economic consequences of AI". Xavier Leroy, professor at the Collège de France in the Software Sciences chair, will address the following question: "How much confidence can we have in the results of an AI? Errors, biases and other risks". Suzanne Vergnolle, lecturer at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, will discuss "The legal framework of artificial intelligence". Benoît Sagot, research director at Inria and guest professor to occupy the annual Computer Science and Digital Sciences chair at the Collège de France, will introduce us to "Deep learning, at the heart of modern AI". Jean-François Bonnefon, researcher at TSE, will close this conference with the following question: "Towards which society are AI and its filters leading us?" Each presentation will last about twenty minutes, followed by about ten minutes of questions. This conference will be hosted by Sarah Nicole, political and research associate at the Project Liberty institute and president of Graine d'Orateur 93.
