This aerial photograph of the JNR Osaka Rinko (Naniwa Freight) Line (between Sakaigawa Signal Station and Osaka Port/Osaka East Port) from around 1975 is a tour of the line. The Osaka Rinko (Naniwa Freight) Line was originally opened as a freight branch of the Kansai Main Line between Imamiya, Naniwa (freight) and Osaka Port, but as the Imamiya, Taisho and Sakaigawa Signal Station sections were incorporated as part of the Osaka Loop Line, the section west of Sakaigawa Signal became the Osaka Rinko (Naniwa Freight) Line. It was once on the western edge of Osaka City, but now the reclaimed land has spread further offshore and the Chuo Subway Line has been extended from Osaka Port to the Cosmo Square area, so if it had been opened to passenger use, it might have become the outer loop line of Osaka, but it seems that this was not even included in the plans. The wiring diagrams of each station are from the mid-1970s.
