ADHD is a behavioral disorder characterized by attention deficit hyperactivity. When we imagine a child with ADHD, we most often think of a boy who has problems with concentration and is too lively. This is a harmful stereotype, which means that girls and women are rarely accurately diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity. So how does ADHD manifest in girls and women? Do girls and women have ADHD less often than boys and men, or are they simply not often diagnosed in this regard? How to support the development and functioning of girls and women with attention deficit hyperactivity? These and many other questions will be answered by the guest of the webinar - Wenesa Gajos, a doctor, a specialist psychiatrist from the ADHD Clinic at the Dialog Therapy Center. During the conversation, we will also discuss the differences in the course of ADHD in women and girls, and in men and boys. The meeting will be led by Michalina Mruczyk.
