She lives in England, and it was here that she studied and earned her title. She specializes in intuitive eating, which she talks about in this episode. She is currently taking a break from creating content, but what you can find there today is current. Food and ADHD is a complicated topic, but it also causes a lot of difficulty for many people, which is why I decided to once again invite someone who knows about it, and who will approach it objectively, without repeating myths, and without misleading. In the conversation with Ania Trojanowska, which was published a year ago, we spent a lot of time looking at the culture of diets and its impact on our relationship with food, because with neuroatypicality, there can be many more of these threats. We also talked about eating disorders, which quite often co-occur with ADHD or autism spectrum disorders. However, we did not have time to look at some of the myths, and I admit that it bothered me, because to this day, from time to time I come across content promoting restrictive diets as a magical solution to many problems of ADHDers and ADDs. So in this episode, Paulina deals with all of this. She talks about whether the way we eat can have a real impact on the severity of our symptoms, talks about the challenges that people with ADHD most often face in connection with eating in general, and suggests how to deal with it. We will also talk about whether emotional eating is really bad and - WARNING - about public enemy number one, sugar, about which legends have been circulating for years. My guest also talks about what intuitive eating is and what good it can do for neuroatypical people, especially considering how much diet culture interferes with our relationship with food in general.
