During his fashion show, the rising star of haute couture, René Entrecôte, is stabbed to death. Adelheid is sick in bed and only learns of the gruesome murder from her mother. Adelheid knows she has to do something - but how? In her condition! Strobel has meanwhile had Manuela, Entrecôte's top model, arrested. Visitors with a wide variety of requests come and go at Adelheid's sickbed. Detective Inspector Dünnwald, Peschke, Schilling and Pohl. Eugen also comes and brings Adelheid the video that was recorded during the fashion show. Adelheid sees a man in the audience who looks familiar to her. And in one sequence he is sitting on his chair, in another he is not, and in another he is sitting again. So he must have gone out at some point. With the help of her mother's fashion magazines, Adelheid finally comes up with the man's name. It is the Italian fashion designer Rico Falcetti! Adelheid finds out which hotel he is staying in. She wants to go there, meets Peschke in front of the house and has him drive her there. It's a good thing that Eugen finally reveals Adelheid's whereabouts to Strobel and his men, because that is the only way they can rescue her from a very dangerous situation. And Pohl's wedding can finally take place.
