A HORA DA ESTRELA, a film by filmmaker Suzana Amaral based on the work of writer Clarice Lispector, has been digitally restored in 4K to return to the big screen. Concerned with the memory of Brazilian audiovisual, Sessão Vitrine Petrobras is responsible for rescuing one of the greatest classics of our cinematography. A HORA DA ESTRELA won Marcélia Cartaxo the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 1986 Berlin Film Festival. She plays the young Macabéa, a typist from the Northeast who finds a boyfriend in São Paulo and dreams of happiness.
